Supported Living for Young People

Dementia Care

It is really important to be clear when a learning disability has been identified. This is so that children, young people, and adults with learning disabilities can access all the services and support available for them, to help them to live the fullest possible lives with all the right adjustments in place.

We will work together to improve and deliver the right support for people with learning difficulties. One of the most important things to help people with learning disabilities live a good life is getting good support. We help people think about how people with learning disabilities can get the best possible support and care.

Unaccompanied Minors: Young People from this cohort can and do have specific needs that are different from the indigenous population. At Heritage Care Place, we have multi-lingual staff who are experienced in supporting Unaccompanied Young people who are often referred under specific conditions that require assessment or further investigation, with elements of reporting to the Home Office UK-Boarder Agency.

We also support young people leaving the prison service under the Southwark judgment (2009) law that obliges children’s services to provide accommodation and support to homeless 16- and 17-year-olds.
